Calicchio is coming out with a new website soon and here are the descriptions of the 2 models trumpets plus the 2 different leadpipe descriptions that will appear on the site.

“Trompetta, di tutti trompetta”. This is how Dominick described this model. With its strong, rich, focused sound, well-known Calicchio characteristic efficiency, an open upper register, and quick response, the 1s/2 lends itself to today’s demanding trumpet playing needs. It will easily let you lead a section with its effortless, projecting tone quality, play a solo with its lyrical, haunting sound, or sit in a section and blend with any and all you meet. This model gives you excellent resonance in every register and a rich palette of focused overtones at any volume.

With the free blowing #9 leadpipe and the combination of the very efficient 1s bell, this combination give the player a rich, broad sound, but with that big, dense core of sound that all Calicchios are noted for. It still has a quick response and sonorous, overtone-rich sound to it, but the very open upper and lower register that can bring new heights to you playing.
#2 leadpipe
This is the world-renowned leadpipe---great for any situation. Its unique design gives the player the ability to play at any volume and still keep a lightning-quick response to the attacks and a large, focused sound with any bell.
#9 leadpipe
The #9 is our most free-blowing leadpipe. It still gives you complete control of the trumpet, but allows the player to play at any volume with ease and comfort, yet always giving the sound a broad, gorgeous quality. If you like room to blow, yet still need a sharp, smooth attack, then this is the choice.
These are rough draphs, so they may change slightly when completed but it gives you an idea of the differences.
