| I played with one Virtual Orchestra for two years now on a tour, it just doesn't work. It is a good idea in theory, and it may have some (limited) uses, such as aux. percussion and to help to fill out a small string section, but that is about it. The patches all strike at different times so they don't line up, it is a nightmare to try to play with. Of course, it is no worse than the other side of the pit (reeds). They seem to think they are in a different band than we are playing in. |
