There has been speculation in the British media that she might accept the vice presidency so that she would have a head start to stand for president after a Kerry's second term. I suppose that this means she has less confidence in Kery's ability to secure a second term (or even win a first) than the British media. If she does want the top job and Kerry wins, the earliest she can expect to stand is 2012.
