General Site Rules

1. No Personal Insults or Attacks. The TM provides this site for our users to gather and discuss all things trumpet. You are free to disagree with others, but if you stoop to personal abuse or attacks, your post(s) will be removed and there is a chance you might be banned.

2. No Obscene Language. Refrain from using any vulgar language. Inappropriate words will be edited. This also applies to User Names. Accounts with inappropriate user names may be edited or deleted.

3. How this Site is Moderated You will notice that we do not have specific moderators for "general" forums at this time. That does not mean those areas are not moderated. The TM is watched closely by our dedicated "Artists in Residence" and Webmasters (Click here to meet our "Artists in Residence" and Staff!)in addition to close friends of the TM who keep an eye on the site. We do our best to make sure things run as smoothly as possible.

4. How You Can Help By Reporting Posts If you come across SPAM or an inappropriate post please report the violation by clicking this icon found in the upper right hand corner of every post

5. Post in the Appropriate Forum Please read each forum description before posting to ensure you are posting in the correct forum. Off topic posts will be moved to the correct forum.

6. Do Not Post the Same Message in Multiple Forums Do not post a message in the "Lounge" and then "Spam" the "Trumpet Discussion" forum with the exact same message. Post one message in one forum. Example: You have an announcement to make about an upcoming trumpet event. Post the event in the Calendar section and choose one forum to make the Announcement.

7. No SPAM Any SPAM will be immediately deleted and the user banned.

8. No SPAM through the PM or Email system Do not contact our members via PM or Email with advertisements for products or websites. If you should receive such a message please alert the administrator.

9. Posting Advertisements Do not place "for sale" or "want to buy" ads in our forum. Ads are only allowed in our Classifieds.

10. Signatures and Avatars We allow registered users to display an 80 / 80 image (avatar) The image must be "appropriate" for a trumpet forum. Artists in Residence and TM Supporters have the option to display larger images. We allow the use of signatures. If an image is used it must be "appropriate" as well.

11. User names Members are allowed one user name. Do not register with multiple user names. Multiple user names will be deleted and / or banned.

12. Leaving the site We hope you enjoy this site for years to come. Every once in a while a member decides that they no longer want to be a part of the site. At that time the best thing to do is simply stop posting. We do not take requests to delete accounts or delete posts. Keep in mind it is possible to edit your own posts at any time. If you decide to leave we do not tolerate "goodbye threads" in the forum. If there are certain people on the forum you want to contact before you leave consider using email or the PM feature.

13. Email messages from TrumpetMaster.com Every once in a while you might receive a message at your email address from administrator@trumpetmaster.com regarding site news etc. If you no longer wish to receive messages from TM log into your account and change your Messaging & Notification settings here
