This is true, Jim. I could have been "stuck" with my son's (ex mine) Besson International (aka Kanstul 709). But it ain't a bad horn neither... just a little light for a 7 member adult trumpet section who have to be able to "bury" four (count 'em... FOUR) freaking full size tubas! (the clarinets don't have a snowball's hope in ..... and the flutes? what are they? do we have some? I never heard em.).

The latest is that the customs broker cleared them through customs OK on Friday and the horns were transferred to Purolator (a Canada Post dedicated courier) on Monday. Purolator decided they couldn't read the address OR the phone number and who didn't figure out that they COULD have contacted the brokers TO WHOM I GAVE MY ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER ON THURSDAY... so they ended up in a "lost address" enclosure in OTTAWA (wrong direction from Toronto) waiting for SOMEONE to call them and raise heck. I "think" I got them straightened out today and they promised to air them to me overnight so (fingers crossed) hopefully tomorrow afternoon I can pick 'em up on my way home from work.

As I said, I'll cross my fingers... and maybe my toes. I will NOT hold my breath however.
