Philadelphia is one of the fattest cities in the nation, watch out.
The Symphony Club was located on that corner when I lived in Philly.
They met twice a week to sight-read music from the Fleisher collection of the Free Library.It was a full sized symphony orchestra, a great place for a high school kid to hang. Lou Opalesky and I were part of the trumpet section.
There were lots of amateur groups to play in back in those days.
