Silver

I tried my bell out at TMEA and bought it through Dillon music, It fit perfectly on my B6-L (tuning bell) Schilke. Sometimes you have to have the hardware adjusted or send your horn in to be fitted.

"Bob, how do the high overtones compare between the brass bell and the sterling bell. Also, which has the richest palette of overtones (more complex sound)? "

The silver bell has a much richer pallatte of overtones, more core. Yesterday while I was doing a clinic, a longtime friend and fellow trumpet player was commenting about how rich my sound was in all regs. and how much core the sound had. He said it was, "more 'Doc' like." He was also commenting about the upper end projection.

I have always been a "Doc" sound fan and I feel this helps me get closer to that sound. 8)
