Just looking for any input on my tinkering, lol. I've been contemplating playing around with some mouthpieces to help me achieve a somewhat darker, rich, "silky" sound. After doing some reading, I found that the Marcinkiewicz 0 and Yamaha 14E4 sounded like they MAY work. I'm not sure how similiar these are to being a V-cup, but I would like to try some, as I've felt very comfortable playing on flugel pieces in the past. I'm currently playing on a Curry 3C (the rim seems fairly comfortable for me). So, if anyone has any input in these pieces, or other possible suggestions, that would be most helpful.
