| I had a L 10.5 that I just sold on eBay. It's a great piece, easy to play, has an almost perfect bite, and improved my articulation somewhat -- just what the doctor ordered for lead work!! I can't say it added any notes to my upper register but it did give what I already have a slight edge.
Bottom line, I just preferred the rim on my Reeves 40 series. The rim on the L 10.5 felt more narrow than what I was used to using.
I'd also like to add that Lowell Stevenson was very helpful and a great all-around-guy!!
