| When I was growing up in brass bands in the 60s and 70s the B&H Imperial was THE horn to have. They pre-dated the Sovereign line...I'm pretty sure that they were around for quite a while, I suspect for 10-20 years but one of the guys from the UK will be able to confirm this or shoot me down.
As to value can't really say, I haven't seen a flugel around but occasionally the cornets come up and those in the 'know' snap them up. I've recently (12 months ago) played a 60s Imperial Eupho that would blow the socks off most new ones (My personal favourite from the era is the 'New Standard')
