NickD has a spectacular aura about
LOVE the iconoclastic style!!!!

Well, there were a couple of threads on the MF forums regarding some other trumpeters and I decided to explore Ms. Jensen's music and website as a result. I have to confess to being unfamiliar with your work, Ingrid. Sorry.

However, in making some posts last weekend I concluded two things, fwiiw coming from me.

1.) The music you make is wonderful - very unique. You have your own sound and unique and beautiful ideas. You're not just a good trumpeter; you're an artist.

2.) In presetning yourself as an artist, i.e. marketing, you are a class act. I was so pleased to go over your web site. Both my kids are musicians, and I'm pleased to share this info with my daughter and my students.

Now to actually BUY some CD's instead of just listening to your work online. I'm on it! I'm assuming your stuff is at Border's. If I can't find it there, I'll pop back by your site and pick them up directly. I want to support you in the charts at Border's, if that can help you with your marketing.

Thanks for being here.

Have a great time at the ITG. I will, unfortunately, be unable to attend this year. If I were to be there, though, I'd come hear you play, that's for sure. Perhaps you can come play at New Trier HS sometime! Contact Jim Warrick (or have your agent do so).

Re: LOVE the iconoclastic style!!!!

Thanks guys! - your 'Gushes' make me feel so good after a long day of travel and dealing with the frustrations that can come along with all that. (packed planes, creative overhead bin- space issues,etc..) You can find a few of my sides (does this term still exist?) at various sites and Borders but the ArtistShare projects can only be purchased off of my site. I'll be posting some bonus goodies and new galleries this week so if you buy or don't buy you can poke around and see what I've been up to. oooh, hungry, that chicken sandwich I had in Atlanta 4 hours ago is about digested~ back soon.
