| Ambassadors are pretty damn good as is BUT a high-quality leadpipe will change it from a student horn into a pro one, for all intents and purposes.
I agree that the mods ideally are done one at a time, so you can guage what change is doing what...but that's an expensive way to go, shipping-wise.
FWIW, mine cost about $800--original horn, all the work, rounded slide, Pilczuk pipe, amados, and shipping. A great value for the money. |
