Chief,

Way to go! I hope your new horn plays as good as it indeed looks!

I did my new horn search and found the brushed finish look so nice. They stand out amongst the crowd of polished lacquer horns and those oldie but goodie raw brass jobs. When I bought my ZeuS Olympus Alex talked me out of getting the raw brushed copper horn. He said once you touched it it started to look like a dirty penny. If did didn't touch all of it often enough it would take forever to get the patina we would all want on such a raw horn. I too opted for the brushed finish, but lacquered, so I could enjoy the beauty of it forever, without having to spend as much time cleaning as I would playing!

Again, enjoy! I'm sure you'll find it is really worth the wait!
