Bach and Dillon! What a great contest... that's great! I think this will get a bunch of people coming to the site.

Kudos!

Well, I was kind of hoping for a Torpedo Bag, but that would be cool, too!

I'm going to have to enter this contest before I read others stories about how they had to sell their horn to feed their family. The last contest I felt so bad for someone's situation that I didn't sign up.

You can always use the "I sold my horn to feed somebody else's family" story. I even know of enough trumpeters who went through nasty divorces with hefty settlements that in their case it is even true!

If this is all it takes to put you off (and give the rest of us on the other side of the world a look in) then standby for "sob stories" - too easy. Thinks: That probably wouldn't be fair though.

Re: Bach Strad / Dillon Music Trumpet Contest

Hmmm, its always bad when integrity is questioned, but through the internet you never know.

I wonder when the contest descriptions will come out. It'd be awesome to actually own a professional horn especially now that my parents told me that they didn't want to buy me a new trumpet.
