trumpetpimp is an unknown quantity at this point
I played one for the first time last week.

I noticed it played similar to my trumpet(Yamaha 6445HSII) but with WAY better intonation. It had the Yammie blow and a rich sound. It felt fairly light in my hands. The tone was dark and in the lower register with a lot air and mellow and solid when you back off. Similarly in the upper register it sounded bright and clear with lots of power and more sweet and delicate when you play quietly. Response was nice and quick. However, as I was playing the horn I found that it was a nice horn but didn't change my perception of trumpets in general.

Then something occurred to me. It sounded really good in the a crappy practice room. I bet it would sound great in a concert hall.
