keep on keepin on
keep your eyes open for better paying work opportunities
Cut back on any extra expenses you can.
Also, if you can get yourself firmly lodged into the local wedding scene as a liturgical trumpet player, wedding season is going to kick off in March and that could bring in some extra cash too. Unfortunately, depending on where you live, cracking into that scene may not be that easy. I tried once and ended up gigging Latin Band instead. Go figure. But, that is out here in the DC area where there are more fantastic military trumpet players than you can shake a stick at that are already deeply entrenched in the local wedding scene.
Unfortunately, there are no quick fixes to your situation. What I have listed above is my only advice.
