Hey Felix, Sorry, I've been out of town and came home to like 400 unread posts

I own (as you can tell from my signature) a Callet Jazz B-flat and Flugel. My B-flat (The picture on the left) is the most comfortable, and versatile horn I have ever played. It has the resistance that I like from my Bach, but blows like a big bore horn. There is nothing on this horn that you can't do. I absolutly love the third slide conversion (ring on the bottom). It makes it much more comfortable to play. Of course, when I say that this is the best horn I have ever played, I am not trying to say that everybody else's horn sucks. I love this horn. It is the horn for me. Now, my Callet was made before Jerry retired. So, I don't know how it compares to the new ones.

My flugel was made in 96'. I bought it just a couple months ago. It is just as comfortable to play as my B-flat. Jerry designed these a little different, and I wasn't quite sure about it till I saw it. It looks like it's missing slides. Jerry wrapped the third valve slide around the bottom of the bell (it's kinda hard to imagine.). However goofy it may look, the little change makes it blow much more free. This another horn that you can do just about whatever you want to it and It resonds.

IF you are ever in the San Antonio area, drop by and play em'.
