| Just got off the phone with Tony. He said that horn at Rayburn built with European parts is actually a B&S valve section that Tony got from Rayburn (as a complete trumpet). Tony then rebuilt it, using his own bell, leadpipe, and tuning slide. Tony did tell me this Scodwell/B&S plays real nice, and would be a great horn for somebody. He is still getting parts from Zig, but wanted to see how the B&S valve sction would compare.
If I had the $$, I would check it out...........
