| Calling all Texans
Well, now that I titled this thread, I realize that not all Texans may appreciate it.
Our Music Director, Osmo Vanska, is from Finland. His English she'sa not so good but he makes himself well understood.
We were working on the slow movement of the Eroica when he shouted out "I want Long horns!". You would have enjoyed the covey of brass and woodwind players that took their right hands, made fists, extended the thumb and pinky of each held up hand in the heralded Longhorn salute!
I don't think he got it but it was very funny.
