| Played the session last night and things went well. I took Manny's advice and had the producer fax me the part ahead of time. That really helped. I was comfortable with the music when I went in. My main problem is I'm not a great reader. When I'm comfortable with the music, I can play well.
I rode to the session with the lead player. I met him on the other side of town. I left what I thought would be 10 minutes early, but got stuck in traffic and wound up getting to the meeting place 10 minutes late. He was a little miffed, but got over it quickly. We were still plenty early for the session.
