| Yes, I also used to think that any horn with a one piece bell was going to be better than a two piece bell.
But, there has been a lot of recent discussion which indicates that this may not be 100% accurate. It is my understanding that there are some very fine trumpets today that have a two piece bell.
So, I think it is not clear. But, I am still influenced by the older line of thinking, and if I were looking in your price range, I'd probably prefer a one piece bell... |
