I totally agree with Billy B. on being easy to get along with and leave your ego at home. when I was playing around town alot a few years ago several things that opened doors for me were - be willing to play any part asked - blend with the section and don't try to out do any one - only say good things about other players [we all talk to each other and you never know who is friends with who] - be available to play freebies now and then[you have no idea how pay jobs that got me]. good luck old geezer Dave
