| Listening to the Greats Recently, I purchased a Sony Walman MZ-RH-910 with a mike to record my practice and lesson sessions. However, as it is an MP3 player, I downloaded some music to bring to work. Not being a "real" trumpet afficionado, I could only recall Al Hirt - the man who really go me started on trumpet an ice age ago. I downloaded his music and could not stop playing it.
My point is that listening to him play is making me sound better. I know that I have read this in posts both here and on TH, but it is true.
Thank you afficianados for bringing this to my attention.
