I'm finally recording CD #2

Hey gang,

I know for quite some time people have been asking me when I'd be recording a new CD. I can finally answer you all in saying that the new CD recording is already underway and I'll be going into the studio this week!

For my new disc I thought I'd play in one of my favorite settings with a disc of entirely duo music. I want this to be more intimate and creative than Trumpet 101 and while the Duo format is considered the most challenging musically for me I find it extremely rewarding in terms of the creativity it allows within the framework of the compositions.

You can read all about my disc at my new "blog". I just created it at http://blog.trentaustin.com/. Please check it out to see my first VERY special guest!

Best to you all and I look forward to posting more on the blog. Feel free to post there or here with any questions that you might have. I'll provide brief sound samples on my website when they are available as well. This plans to be a great journey and I hope you can hop on for the ride.

Best,

Trent
