Oregon Symphony Principal Trumpet Auditions

Just passing along information -- any of you going to audition? Portland is a beautiful place to live, but not on the salary they are offering. Plan to have another job to make ends meet. Section members get about $10K less than the principal.

Principal Trumpet

Auditions will be held October 31, November 1 - 2, 2005 in Portland Oregon.
(The OSO reserves the right to complete auditions on November 1 pending number of candidates.)

Compensation for the current 2004-2005 season is $51,671, including EMG and instrument maintenance allowance. Current CBA benefits include: year round medical and dental insurance, LTD, AFM pension plan, paid parking.

Only highly qualified candidates should apply. Please send a one page resume and a $100 refundable deposit (check made out to the Oregon Symphony) to:
