Nailson Simoes is also an excellent trumeter, but I think he might be based in Rio. Charlie Schlueter goes down almost every year to work with the Quintetto Brasil, usually in the late spring or early summer after he gets done teaching but before Tanglewood starts. You can check out his schedule at
