Holton T101

I recently picked up a Holton T101(my NEW horn, only 10 years old). I bought it in part because of what I've read on the various forums about them. That and the fact I got a beautiful horn for a little over $300. I think the horn plays great. I guess my question is, even though I've read good things about the horn, it seems very few people have played them. If you've played one what is your take on them? I know, if I like it that's all that matters, but I'm wondering why so few players(real players, not a hack like me) play them. Also, if the were made with the old Bach tooling, would a round Bach tuning slide fit the horn?
