Good luck trying to have fun in Syracuse!!! There are two places I like to go when I'm there (I'm a native):
1) Dinasaur BBQ-the best BBQ place in the north, if you ask me. Their ribs are great, but I like the "Big @ss Pork Plate"!! You usually have to wait a while for a table, but they also have a great bar. Try the Syracuse IPA, mmm...
2) Awful Ale's-this place always reminded me of the island from pincchio where everyone is drinking, smoking and playing pool. They have a wide selection of cigars and hookah's (with flavored tobaccho), if you are so inclined. Also a great bar and the place is always hoppin.
Both of these places are by "Armory Square," which is a short walk from the hall. Good luck on your audition! Please post if you or any of your friends win the gig.
