I just want to look at the bells, mainly. After seeing that ebay pic of the Prana, I am VERY interested in what Dave is doing. VERY unique flare. It actually seemed to curve back towards the player somewhat. I do comment that that bell was one of the most beautiful things I'd seen. AND it was raw brass.

Interesting thing: Rod McGaha is soon to become a resident artist at Cumberland University (and hopefully, I will be chosen as one of his students). He plays a VERY unique Monette trumpet. The place where the two pieces of the bell are soldered together, there is a large RING. I'm thinking its either a screw bell, or something to affect the tone to get "his" sound.

Haha, I was too nervous to approach him about his axe that night. He's SICK on the trumpet, jeez.

(Oh, and I'm glad I actually created a Monette rant that people LIKE!! )
