| Oh man, I feel your pain. Around here deer are bad; a short drive into the mountains and the hazards are worse. A full-grown mountain sheep can take out a full-size SUV as easy as *that* (snap fingers). They are short enough that mostly they just take out the grill, rad, hood, and all those various bits and pieces around the front of the engine block.
Elk are worse though... they love the pre-dawn and the problem is that they are tall enough they'll either come through the windshield or smash down the roof right where the front seat is. We won't talk about moose.
Lots of lights, lots of eyeballs, and SLOOOW DOWN around those hours. Hope your car is repairable. |
