| It depends on what type of snow you have and how much. Wet, heavy snow requires a heavier engine to throw it----figure on a 10 to 12 horse. You also have to look at how much snow you get. In Tahoe, last winter, I had 12 feet on the ground. The snowblower of choice up here is a Honda with a big engine. They throw snow twice as far as any other rig and when you have 8 to 1o ft. berms you need that to clear the top.
