In a venue dedicated to trumpet playing, it seems very strange that anyone would object to one of the few fine working professionals here sharing his talent with the rest of us. I'd object to someone/anyone selling Amway or pest strips, but postings like this one are informational, and certainly worth listening to. Let's just be thankful that we all are not required to post a snippet of our own personal performance upon admission to the TMForum. Nowhere to hide audition tapes might be a real eye opener of whose opinions should matter -- if, of course, anyone was brave enough to join TrumpetMaster under that rule! What do you say that we try to encourage talent and professionalism -- not drive it away, as has happened far too often?
