With respect to my posts about my CD efforts:
I am hugely excited about doing a CD with real live musicians instead of loops and half-baked sequences I concocted. In my excitement I was posting a great deal about each step. I was trying to SHARE the process. Deecy's post raises the possibility that there may be more folks who find my posts tedious and are just being politely quiet. Deecy is just speaking his mind. That's cool.
I harbor no illusions that I am or ever will be a jazz giant. However, I WILL GO TO MY GRAVE TRYING! Whether or not I ever get there will NEVER be for ME to decide. That's cool, too!
I really don't want to offend anyone, so I'm going to be a bit more parsimonious in my personal offerings along these lines, and I'll stick to the Lounge for them. Anything goes there, right? I'll keep trying to start and address threads pertaining to trumpet work in general.
Believe me, I AIN'T going away! I'm just going to try to be more respectful to all who are members here.
Thanks again for the kind words, all. To Deecy, thanks for offering you opinion. I'm sure we can all leanr from it.
