Ah man I cannot believe you are asking me that only cause it is such a long story.....but since you asked here it goes.
I have an Olympus and an Holton MF st-308. I notice a Phaeton on ebay which catches my eye, I really want this horn. I contact the seller and I tell him (out of haste and impatience) that I will trade my Olympus and Holton for his Phaeton, he agrees and transaction takes place. ps I have sinced sold my Phaeton and now play the Bach 37. Honestly for my level of playing the Phaeton even though a beautiful instrument was to advanced for me I can do more with the Strad. ok lets do the math...rough figures: 1530 for holton 1700 roughly for Olympus before Zachary raised prices. Jeezes so you mean to tell me I payed over 3 grand for the phaeton and sold it for $980!!! Ok thats it I am keeping my bach and playing it untill I am dead and gone!!!!!
