On a side note, I am a native NYer. I grew up in Brooklyn and also spent some time living on the upper west side of Manhattan. I have walked through Tribeca alone at 3 am and rode the trains at all hours. That whole "mugging" statement makes those who know (and love) our city laugh. NY had its problems in that regard......back in the 70's and 80's, but today it is one of safest, classiest places to be. If you want to worry about muggings and theft, go to any city in Europe. The thievery is rampant. |
Hey Alex
No apologies nessasary

Ya I wish I had a group together, but I just generally sit in with bands, busk, teach, and a whole lotta little stuff like that. By the way Alex, that horn and specially mouthpiece you have sounds HOT. I wanna get a Monette Prana mouthpiece for my Martin Committee, but with the holidays coming up I have a feeling my wife would flip if I did that right now

.
Thats really interesting about NYC Alex. I have just heard that it was a violent place to live. Guess that was misinformation. I heard that its a real crazy (as in good) place to live in terms of art, music, technology etc. We'd love to move to the US as I know my career would really take off there, but getting a work visa without someone to sponsor you is next to impossable. Anyway its like 5:30 am here and I'm just winding down after a great gig tonight...gonna get some sleep
Clarence
Hay man...its Sunday morning, so I wanna wish you the best of luck with your move to Vegas tomorrow on the 28th.

Let us know how it is there!
