You can get a bright sound on these "huge mouthpieces" but there is no point in beating yourself up as much as you have to to achieve this. I could play a 7 hour show on my 1B playing lead screaming double c's and go home with my tongue hanging on the floor and do it again the next night and not miss more than 5 notes. and i COULD do that every night... but what would be the point in beating myself up that much. there's an extent to where it does become cheating but there's also the point of stupidity...
