[quote="Tootsall"]Ya... I've been watching US politics for some time now and I think it's a shame you don't have more of a multi-party system down that-a-ways. Then there would be something for "middle of the roaders" to at least consider. Probably much too late for that though (although there seems to be enough sentiment in that direction that it might just take one small shove to get it started).

actually in the last election i voted for a third party candidate. i intend to do so more, even if they dont win, if enough people do that who knows?...

the election system here in the us is rigged against third parties from even having a chance. with all the hoops they have to jump through to get on the ballot, not being able to get into debates, media exposure and time.

i am really tired of having to choose between idiot and stupid, in our elections.

what really pushed me over the edge, was the playground bullying on the part of one candidate and the getting away from the party platform on the other candidate. and that neither really addressed the issues, they just attacked each other, and really had no ideas or even a clue

maybe hillary as presidential candidate will be what pushes people to the third parties
