| I really like my Seiko credit card sized metronome. Because it's so small there's no excuse to not take it with you, it's loud enough for most purposes, and doesn't eat batteries. I've had mine for many years and have never had a problem with it. A Dr. Beat may be better in terms of overall features and loudness, but if portability is an issue, think about the Seiko.
