I studied for a while with a great NYC trumpet player and whenever he goes out to California, he takes a lesson with Uan. He tells me that many great players do the same...they see Uan as their teacher.

Did he ever publish anything regarding his system of playing?

Since you studied with him, could you tell a bit about his teaching style, what he recommends?
