You know, I can understand a few thousand. After all, eating roaches is NOT something you bargain for, and the fine needs to be hefty enough to make the local establishment feel the pinch. But a million is outrageous.
Once again greed trumps common sense, and it sounds to me like someone is just chasing dollar signs.
$10,000 tops. If I were her I'd take the $5,000 offer and be happy. And that ONLY becuase, apparently, her daughter hadn't noticed the little critters before she partook of the sandwich.
