| i still own the schilke P4 picc that dominick sold me back in '96 along with a yamaha 9610 Eb/D that i sold a couple years ago. i was thinking of selling the P4, but instead will cherish it.. he was a kind-soft spoken man always willing to share to a young immature student. i heard a quote a couple years back from david zauder, where he stated that, "he has never heard a better audition in his life" referring to dominick's audition for the cleveland orchestra back in i believe 1960. i'm very sad to hear of his passing!! |
