| I doubt if you will be standing on the ice also.
They should have a padded carpet big enough for all of you, and they will put it down JUST prior to your playing. (so they don't hurt the surface)
Don't worry, it will go well with no discomfort.
Also, because of the glass surrounding the rink, the sound will come back at you faster than it did at the basketball game.
