| What an incredible performance. The sound of the baroque trumpet just goes right where it is supposed to with the period instruments, where a modern piccolo may have sounded like a bull in a china shop.
Also I love how the whole orchestra stands up and plays together. Some of it may look silly to our eyes, but way the group physically reacts to each other is amazing. And you can hear it, with energy just pouring out of every orifice of the ensemble.
What a great player, what a great recording! Just, wow, wow, wow.
