Boehme Sextet instrumentation

Ed,

What do you (or anyone else) know about the original instrumentation of this work? I've seen a source that indicates it was written for cornet, three trumpets (incl. one bass), trombone, and baritone. Yet I think I remember reading somewhere that Boehme wrote exclusively for cornet, but that editors along the way have changed it to trumpet in many cases for practical reasons. It seems tough to find an authoritative answer.

Can anyone clarify this or point me towards some useful info?
