But, album cover photos aren't trustworthy documents due to photographers using "props" and manufacturors (now-a-days) buying "airtime." Another possible explanation for the "Cotten Candy" photo is the candy in the bell and the possibility of the mouthpiece dropping out onto the floor, requiring the good judgement of NOT using Al's real equipment. |
