Hi Manny-

I'd like to ask your opinion about something. For which pieces do you physically separate the trumpet section on the stage? I think the only time we've done this is for Shostakovich 7 when trumpets 4-6 and trombones 4-6 sit on the other side of the stage. Have you ever done this on any other piece?

I thought it might be interesting to have the Eb and Bb trumpets in Ein Heldenleben play from different places. Have you ever done this?
