| the soloist in a big band I play in was trying out a Z horn Friday night. He plays a Callichio and has trying this new horn for about a week. I asked him on break what he thought and he said he thought that he would buy it. He said it played better and easier at low volume and he didn't have to fight the intonation as much and it didn't wear him out. He sounded great on it but didn't quite have the "edge" to it like his old horn. of course he can make any horn sound good but he said it was easier on the "Z" horn, it is an 8310 custom. Dave
