This book is amazing. When I was first taking trumpet lessons, my teacher would make me read one of these duets each lesson. We could only move on when I played it with little or no mistakes. He had a graph for each of his students progress.
The book helped me learn to read music, because at the time, I couldn't read music.

It helped me so much, that I have written a method book for beginner students that is totally duet based. (this was a school project, and I have yet to test it with my students)
