I found it interesting that Laughton came back to play with them recently as he was one of the "original" CB members.

I have a paper back book with the early history and commentary on the Canadian Brass.

Laughton was playing with another group "Northern Brass" and I have a couple of their CD's as well. Fine (as in fine wine) group. Yes he does have a beautiful sound.

I would be curious about why he decided to come back and then leave (for whatever reason) in a relatively short timespan.
