Yes the 1960 10A (late model) is a trumpet wrap. I also have an early 10A which I like a bit better. The late 10A requires a bit too much air support for my taste.

The 38A Victor is a 0.458" bore (#1 1/2), so it is a bit smaller than an 80A and also a bit shorter and I suspect a bit "taller" Conn changed the wrap around the opera glass tuning slide a bit to make the whole thing a bit shorter. It should come back from the shop one of these days, so we will see what it's like (I hope).
